Children’s Music
I was writing children’s music before I had kids, but I starting writing a lot more once I became a stay at home dad. Some was nonsensical, some was based on the kids’ vocabulary at the time, and some was about the stuff they liked (toilets, Godzilla, etc.).
Around this time, my friends Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr were starting a subscription-based children’s book service called Bobbledy Books. They asked me if I wanted to write an album a year for their subscribers. A few years later I had released three CD’s, all featuring their amazing design work and art. I am incredibly grateful for their confidence and support.
I continue to write children’s music, and a fourth album is in the works.
